Protecting Your Energy - Self-Care Connection Practices

ree

Since dedicating my life to the Lights’ work as a multidimensional energy healer, I have learned just how much I am affected by energy from others in my environment. It’s also allowed me to be of witness to how much we ALL are affected by the energy in our interactions with others and in our environment. I have learned that not everyone works in the Light and I am learning that even those who have the best intentions lose their sight and succumb to desperate acts. This may seem obvious to most, but for me, it wasn’t obvious. I trusted that we all, especially those in the Healing community, stand strong in the highest of intention. I began my journey with a naïve heart, desperately wanting to trust that even respected Energy Masters and Shamans are true to the Divine Light. However, my journey has taught me otherwise, the hard way…. Or at least in a way that has taught me to lead with a wise heart.

I’ve been inspired to write on how we can better protect ourselves from absorbing the emotions of others as well as how to better identify one’s intentions. How to better protect ourselves from low-energies within relationships, teacher-student scenarios, work environments, and even out in public settings. This is for intuitives, empaths, clairsentients, and even for those who think they are none of these. Taking note to understand how low-energies can unknowingly be absorbed and show up as unexplained sadness or anger; and bouts of depression and exhaustion.

We are all being constantly affected by the energy we come in contact with. These interactions make us feel either positive or negative. Yet, for most of us, we are so caught in the fast-paced mindset that we are missing how our interactions are making us feel. I myself, recently, have brushed over the intuitive alarms and “feeling-senses” and pushed through the moment. The more we ignore or dismiss our feelings, our intuition, the more we push out our five senses and our intuitive messaging. However, when we honor these intuitive senses, we build up a sensitivity to perceive the energies in the air of a situation. Making us much more resilient; which allows us to step outside of a negative and hectic environment.

A dominate vehicle of negative energy comes in the form of emotions, such as anger, hate, jealousy, envy, or greed. These emotions fill the atmosphere and if we are not grounded and in-tune we quickly take on the psychic atmosphere. To simply ignore the energies is to be influenced by it. Attempting to ignore it or going into denial that it even exists is careless and impulsive. Your character, your truth, and your self-awareness must be honored and addressed in order to truly navigate this. Navigating these types of atmospheres requires discipline in our daily rituals of self-care and self-awareness.

For example, at some point in your life, you may have found yourself being caught up in the influence of a negative situation causing a spontaneous bout of anger. Much of the general violence in society can also find its source in people succumbing to the influence of negative energy. Such as riots or road rage. Or a student is so excited to learn and be part of a community that they fail to realize the ill-intent of their teachers' work. Or co-workers suddenly finding themselves filled with anger over a situation that ultimately has nothing to do with them directly.

When we practice our connection with our truest and highest self, our intuition, negative energy has far less chance of affecting us. By practicing this self-awareness, by way of meditation or sitting in the power of spirit, we lift the energy consciousness of both the body and mind to the positive energy of higher consciousness. Daily discipline practices also provide us with some assurance that we will be less susceptible to negative energy influences. This is all about being more in tune with the absolute positive energy, Divine Light.

As a result of daily self-care connection practices (such as prayer, meditation, breathwork, and nature connection) you become closer to the divine or universal part of your heart. It’s then that deeper connection to your heart may provide you with ease of intuitive wisdom. When this connection is nurtured you are guided as to what to do outwardly to counteract negative atmospheres.

Below are true and trusted clearing and grounding tool that may support your self-care connection practices

1. Bathing. Bathing is more than relaxing; it helps cleanse our aura and absorbs negative energy. Add Himalayan or Epsom salts to your bath to support the cleansing intention. Add healing herbs such as basil and rosemary, to cleanse the aura.

2. Protecting yourself with a bubble of golden light and only allowing love to enter. Add to the visualization by imaging that the top of the bubble is connected to the universe. Imagine that it’s connected with a thread of golden light, so that it is effectively hooked up to a permanent stream of cosmic energy. You can change the color of the bubble pink for love, blue for healing, and red for energy. Really, you can be as creative as you like with your visualizations adding whatever elements you feel called to.

3. Asking Archangel Michael, St. Germain, and other Ascended Masters to help cut any cords of attachment or remove any energetic fragments. Asking to be protected by their pillar of light.

4. Visualizing your own sacred “room” or healing garden to go to that is only yours.

5. Spending time outdoors and placing your hands and bare feet on the earth or in moving water to act as a cleansing tool.

6. Calling your energy back into your crown chakra and heart center. To start it may be helpful to imagine gathering your energy into your very own sacred basket only to then hug and absorb it into your energy field with love and gratitude.

7. Carrying a black tourmaline and other grounding stones and crystals to help protect and absorb the negative atmosphere.

8. You can even say a mantra such as “My heart is open and the love of the universe flows through me” or “what’s it like to glow with love.” When we say any of these words or phrases we instantly connect with their spiritual energy and their power. Light always overcomes darkness and visualizing yourself as a beacon of love recharges your energy while neutralizing the energies you’re surrounded by.

So, let’s remember together that life is the perfect blend of negative and positive.

Light and the dark so in just the same way that your energy field can be drained and compromised, it can also be illumined and energized. Being around uplifting positive people, activities, and environments will boost and energize you. It’s about finding the right balance that works for you as well as making sure you look after yourself and spend time with people that add to your quality of life. Connecting and trusting in yourself. Building the most important relationship with self is ultimately number one!

With love and light-

Tiffany
