Mercury in Scorpio. Retrograde. Two Full Moons, a New Super Moon, and a Blue Moon.
OH’, Star Arcturus Alignment!
There’s more, but this may be my limit…and this is the “skinny” version
…Welcome October…
The Harvest Full Moon has always pulled me in; however, these upcoming energies have really grabbed my attention. I had to take a moment to sort out the energetic activity that we are about to step into. I don’t normally consume my thoughts and focus on astrology, but having this awareness feels really important as we navigate the month ahead. Here’s why, and honey, whatever emotions you are feeling, be sure you allow them to come to the surface so you can release them once and for all. This is strong energy for releasing and purging, especially on a collective level. With the first Full (Harvest) Moon, we may feel aggravated or fired up in general. Be mindful of lashing out or doing something you may regret later. As a collective, we may see this energy manifest as a need to stand up for our rights and what we believe in. Seems appropriate, right?? Between retrograde and the New (supermoon) Moon, turn inward as things won’t seem clear in the outside world. It is our inner world that is the truest compass. There’s a higher collective knowing that we are not going back to the way things were (!!), so we are greeted with the opportunity to start innovating new ways. We are being asked to get creative and be resourceful with how to approach our lives.
Following the New Moon, the Sun aligns with the star Arcturus (10/17)! On this day, we can channel the amazing healing blue energy of Arcturus, for me, this will be a new practice of intention. Arcturus is believed to be home to highly intelligent beings of higher consciousness. This blue energy can lift our hearts, increase our intuition, and remind us of our connection to one another. We then will move into the energies of Scorpio, holding space for us to shed our skin of old as we make our way through the final seasons of 2020. And, finally, with the Full Hunters Blue Moon, spiritual energies will be heightened making us feel more connected to higher realms, and more in touch with our intuition and psychic abilities.
We are going through massive upgrades and many of us are feeling these changes on a physical level. Expect waves of ascension energies. Overall, we will be experiencing a lot and we will be asked (or pushed) to go even deeper within. I can’t ignore the abundant opportunity to connect within and receive high-level messages during this time. Autumn tends to cradle us as we let go of our summery fire and prepare for the winter months. Autumn spirit teaches us to receive with gratitude, reflect, and re-fertilize soul and earth so we may all benefit. Rest easy knowing that Mother Nature’s changes outside correspond to inner changes just as well. Take extra care of yourself this month. This energy is bringing powerful transformation. See it all as an opportunity. We have a lot to release, a lot to heal during this massive expansion. SO nurture yourself, love the shit out of yourself … toss the critical eye and negative internal chatter and just allow yourself to sit with your brilliance. Just as with Mother Nature, there is a way within her seasons, a necessary way. Some seasons flow with birth and abundance, some with death and falling away. Self-love is the highest frequency that will support us during this particular time of transition.
To support you during this ride, below you will find journaling prompts and a Full Harvest Moon mediation. If you feel inspired to reflect upon the past season, write these prompts down and take a moment to dive into yourself. Remember a full moon is symbolic of culmination, completion, and fruition….and we have two to tap into this month.
Reflect. Connect. Manifest.
1. Accomplishments from the past season and goals achieved
2. Understanding and learning from mistakes
3. Autumn intentions and goals
4. Steps that take you toward your manifestations/goals
5. List the seasons in your order of preference. Look at your least favorite season and ask yourself: what gifts does this season have for me that my body and soul are yearning for?
